525 Challenge Grant – Brent Lewis Bridges Foundation

We are here to help. The 525 Challenge Grant is to help firefighters and their families offset the costs of cancer screening and blood work. We want to make sure that firefighters see their personal physician for an annual physical. Colon cancer matters to us, but we also care those who serve us are healthy, strong, and take care of themselves. The 525 Challenge Grant helps to fulfill Brent’s dream of stopping cancer by making sure the brotherhood is checked and good under the hood.

If you are a firefighter or a family member of a firefighter:

and you have scheduled an appointment with your doctor for an annual physical and need assistance, we can help by paying your deductible (typically $35.00);

If your health insurance has out of pocket costs for lab work, we can help offset that cost (up to $150.00).

If you are diagnosed with cancer, we want to help in the battle with a gift to reduce the stress for unexpected, incidental costs.

The 525 Challenge Grant application may be submitted on behalf of any first responder by a family member, officer in their department, co-worker or friend. All it takes is to be aware of the need and #care4caregivers.
